This is the one! Guys, SO GOOD. Not wasting any time today because we need to talk about my jumpsuit. I picked it up at Boutique Elise by the brand, Essue. A couple of years ago I was all about the shorts/tank top version of rompers and wore them constantly. While I still have them, I didn’t wear them as much last summer. Maybe I over-wore them the year before…maybe I forgot…maybe I just wasn’t feeling them as much. Who knows! This year, I’m going to be living in this black one. If you remember, Robin and I did a try-on session at Boutique Elise about a month ago and the jumpsuits I tried on during our IG stories got so much love by ya’ll.
What’s great about the jumpsuit I’m wearing in this post is that, for one, it’s a super light weight, breezy material, but the legs have this sexy little slit up them AND it has pockets. So, basically, I don’t need to say any more. Black looks great on everybody so you can’t go wrong there but it’s fun because it has the cute little poms on the sleeves. The fit is also very flattering and easy. You know when you wear some jumpsuits and they tend to ride allllllll the way up? Well, not this one. Its fit holds shape and I don’t feel the need to constantly be tugging and pulling at it. Because of the deep-v front, I paired it with a lace bralette but if you’re not comfortable with all that exposure, definitely throw a cami or cage front bralette underneath (like this one). This jumpsuit is ruched so it creates a waist for you but I added a western style belt just to add a little something extra without taking away from the already statement aspect of this outfit.
If you’re local to South-Central Indiana, and you haven’t already, you need to check out Boutique Elise to see what else they have in stores. The owner, Renee, has boutique locations in Columbus, Brownstown, and Corydon, IN and everything is so wearable. Robin and I were in there last week, in fact, and I picked up a couple more things because I couldn’t help myself. Boutique Elise also carries plus-size and mens so there is something for everyone. Definitely worth a stop in! Robin and I love finding local boutiques and supporting small businesses so if there is one near you that we need to shop at, let a girl know! XOXO
Thanks for stopping by! Sending love, Holly
