Hey everyone! I wanted to wish everyone graduating this month a CONGRATULATIONS! I can definitely relate to the feeling of relief once it’s all done and finished & you can finally RELAX! My brother, Ian, is graduating this weekend and I am so proud of him! He spent 15 years in the military right after high school & then moved back to Indiana to become a full time student and now teacher! Congrats, big bro!
Some of you may know that I am headed back to school myself next month. I’m studying a Masters of Social Work & while I’m excited, I’m also nervous! I haven’t been in school in 7 years and getting back into the student mindset and schedule will be an adjustment. I’m lucky to be surrounded by a huge support system and a husband who wouldn’t mind some peach and quiet so it’ll be all up to me to be successful. I’m going part-time because I still have to work so it’ll take me about three years. Seems like a while but in the grand scheme of things, it’ll go by so fast. I don’t exactly know what’s in store for me in years to come with this new degree but I know that I want to help people and get more involved in my community. I’m a third generation Master’s of Social Work student so to say I have big shoes to fill is an understatement!
ANYWAY, today’s look is inspired by all of the excitements of graduations. It’d be a perfect look for a grad ceremony or party. The dress is simple enough to play up with accessories and if it’s still a little cooler where you are, you could definitely throw on a denim jacket. This dress isn’t exactly new, I think I picked up last summer, but I actually haven’t gotten a chance to wear it! It was on sale at Minash and I knew I could style different ways. You know I’m a sucker for that!
And how about a blooper! 😉
